You must have missed my earlier objection to the commercial takeover of a religious holiday.
There are far more important things for children than a cheap mass of plastic that will hold their attention for maybe a few days (if its a better one) and make millions for some greedy corporation. Most children can find all sort of things to amuse themselves with that do not come from the toy department of Wally-world and its ilk.
