The World Health Organization (WHO) considers a person 'starving' if they're consuming less than 1200 calories a day. It's virtually impossible to get the nutrition you need with less than that. Please go to a doctor and let us know how it goes.

For a really good documentary on eating disorders I recommend 'Thin'. I worried for a while I had an unhealthy obsession with diet and body image but after seeing what institutionalized people do to themselves it put things in perspective. There's nothing wrong with trying to maintain a healthy weight but you've got to do it in a healthy way.
