I haven't seen Avatar yet, and although I was mildly interested while watching the trailers I don't think I'll get to it. If I don't see it in the theaters chances are I won't bother at all. I agree with previous posts that if it's not seen in the theaters, then it's not a good idea to watch it on DVD or as a rental. The CGI's look fantastic, and if I was in the mood for a momentary escape from reality it might be a great choice.
