He could be Yamaguchi Ryoushuu (山口蓼洲), who was a Kyougen-shi (Kyougen actor) and a Japanese painter born in Kyouto and deceased in 1966 at age of 80. His true name was Yoshizawa Keizou (古沢慶三) (family name first).
