Again this isn't a "community decides" forum. The mods and admins have been chosen, for whatever reason, to keep the forum clean as they see fit. if you don't like it you certainly have the choice to not participate.

i did say that it would not apply to spammers and adders* (*is that even a word?) so i feel that for posts that people find inapropriate due to the
view being expressed it is a workable idea.
in terms of what the Oz gov is doing.
the legislation was pushed through to stop kiddy-porn, which we can all argee is a bad thing. (actually to say that peado's are bad is like saying Hitler was a bit naughty - these people are scum)
however.
the Legislation also is designed to "protect children" who are using the web.
now i would be the first to argue that the picture i linked in my last post on "japans secret war....." is not suitable for children (hence the warning)
however it is the result of actions being carried out in our name.
thus it is really not much of a leap to say that these images should also be censored. to protect children.
its the direction that the web is sadly moving in
