I guess I am trying to figure out what you are doing. What I am saying is, I don't understand why people think the longer you are there the better. Personally 2 months alone in Kyoto with no one there I know sounds a bit hellish. Kyoto is a beautiful and clean city with a long history, but after a week (or less) I would run out of things to do. Temples and shrines get old pretty quickly, no matter how much you love Japan (or Buddhism or Shinto)
Ah, I see.

I understand exactly what you mean. But I'm staying in Japan the entire allotted 3 months because I have to quit my job anyways.
So I have to stay somewhere.
