Some would say my wasabi mashed potatoes last night were Japanese, but somehow that seems an incorrect description of a dish made of Irish potatoes, horseradish grwon in New England, and mayonaise.
Calling it "wasabi" something may sound Japanese, but face it mayo and potatoes is about as white-bread as it gets, and I consider horseradish
oh-so-very-British.
