Oh man. You just turned me on to a whole new slew of music. I didn't realize there were so many remixes of Ghibli music. I love the stuff! I spent about an hour or two checking out what's available on itunes.
I appreciate your help, and the version you provided a link to is very close, but rather than a harp, the background instrument sounds more like a samisen? So close!
Now that I know about the endless remixes, when I return to Japan I will have to spend some time browsing them!
