Yeah. When I have questions that are pretty specific, I tend to go to Google and search something like "固い 硬い 堅い 違い" and check out the results:
固い 硬い 堅い 違い - Google Search
100% of the entire first page of results are pages that appear to explain the difference.
Granted, my method requires Japanese literacy, but for those of us who have it already, it often is useful to learn kanji specifics or slight differences in connotations between words.
