Erm, that's incorrect. Lolita dresses are often much longer than regular dresses, and often have long sleeves or are big enough to accomodate, bloomers, blouses and underskirts. In Lolita you aren't supposed to show too much skin or leg. (As a generic rule.)

At 5,5, you should be the 'perfect size' for Lolita. The ideal length of a skirt is either just below the knee or just above it (or somewhere inbetween), though just above it can often be cutting it a bit fine. Shorter girls find that Lolita is too long on them, and tall girls find the skirts to be way too short which can sometimes ruin the look.
