Why you want to go to Japan: Several different reasons that all ultimately started with cars and food I guess. I always liked Japanese food and lusted after Japanese cars when I was a kid(I'm lucky enough to own one now
). I started watching Initial D because of my interest in cars which really got me interested in the language. I've taken 2 semesters of Japanese so far, and I'm signed up for a third. During this time I've become interested in anime and Japanese culture as a whole. I've never been outside of the U.S. and I'm currently saving up money for a trip to Japan either next year, or after I graduate.
