Maybe even more than 20 feet.
You are talking about Mukade
Centipede - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
or Gejigeji
Scutigera coleoptrata - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gejigeji is harmless insect.
Mukade sometimes bites human. But,according to japanese wiki,it has not been reported that someone is killed by Mukade in Japan.
Don't worry.
Mukade is written 百足 in Kanji. It literally means hundred legs.more than twenty
The insect on the picture you posted is Oogeji. It’s a kind of Gejigeji.
