Okay, final words on this matter from me.

I am not the demon you, and for some reason want everyone else to believe, me to be. However, I see what results from disagreement and will therefore no longer do so.

I retreat from this battlefield with no ill will, lingering hard feelings, or recurrent oblique references, a sentiment I hope is replicated from the other side of this conflict.

As for the PM issue, I had set it to friends only not because I'm a "spammer", but to eliminate the random PMs I had been getting that contained nothing of substance. Should things change in the future, I may be receiving more PMs and avoid making responses this way on the public forums.

Finally, I would like to express my support to MMM's proposal of creating separate threads for all forms of Japanese writing in order to quickly move forum members' understanding of the language to high proficiency. This system, once put into place and practice, will definitelly serve to make this forum and its valued members an invaluable resource to both the curious and proficient.
