Dude, Hughes wasn't an alchemist. If he was, the homunculi would have had a harder time killing him.
I'd have to say, hands down, my favorite alchemists are Izumi and Armstrong. She's a kick-your-ass type person and he's a I'll-make-you-laugh-and-kick-your-ass-at-the-same-time person. Too easy a choice. LMFAO!!
