I'd like to know of a polite way to say that I don't want people putting junk mail, free newspapers, etc. through the mail slot in my door. I get a ton of these.

Also, while I'm at it, I'd like to know a polite way to say, "Please don't put lean your bicycle on the A/C unit or put things on top of it". My A/C unit is near the bike rack of my apartment, and invariably bicycles get leaned against it, leaving rubber marks and scratches, or someone throws their bicycle cover on it.
