And it is true about the clothing. If you are on the short side and thin things will fit you, my 5'4" friend found out that Japan is his perfect off-the-rack country. When I went with two female friends only one of us could just barely fit into the largest women's clothing. We were all too tall, too busty and our shoulders too wide.
I'm actually 5,5" and weigh 127 pounds - which is why I thought Japan and/or Korea would be perfect shopping destinations.

Also, this is not for you but the other poster; I doubt that anything besides fruits are more expensive in Japan than here in Norway.
