When there was a slight wind, all the others would stop for a moment and feel the cool air but he would carry on planting with a quicker pace just to finish faster. Later, he had to re-do it because he planted them to close to each other therefore they would not have been able to grow.

You must be talking about Jet Li's "Fearless". That was one of the scenes in the movie. He told the media that that was his last martial arts movie over here. The movie had a lot of action in it. But it was very sad almost through the whole thing.
