This is why I don't like these threads. Who knows what your name would look like in kanji? That's a decision parents make for their children. Even if you "chose" kanji for your name, the chances that most Japanese would look at it and pronounce it the way you intend is questionable at best.
Giving people a kanji name to get them interested in Japan is like giving a child a gold star for finishing her veggies. Maybe it makes her feel good for a minute, but it is ultimately a meaningless gesture.
