I grew up in California and always took a shower in the morning (and sometimes the odd shower after sports or working out or the beach or something).

Since I've come to Japan, that's changed. In the fall and spring, I shower in the morning (with the occasional night shower). In the winter, definately night. In the summer, in the morning (and usually in the afternoon or night just to cool/rinse off).
