There are multiple opportunities for shorter term internships at Japanese hospitals... Mainly through the Red Cross from what I know.
There was always a foreign doctor or two milling around with a translator in the NICU and ICU when I was there.
As for money, I haven`t the slightest idea about whether they were making any at all.
If anyone is trying to find me… Tamyuun on Instagram is probably the easiest.
