I cannot take this question seriously from a New Zealander.
Trust me, it's
much better in Japan than in your country. Many minorities have been seriously assualted in your country recently. Some almost even died! That's something you won't hear in Japan. All you might get would be the occasioanl, curious stares, mostly by kids.
