Same root meaning for both terms, which is why fag is such an insult to gay people. Originally a faggot was a bundle of sticks used for kindling a fire. In either case it's supposed to refer to something meant to set on fire. Not cool.

There's also the double meaning for rubber. In U.K. an eraser, in the U.S. a condom.

ayumiyuu - yes, there word "here" is a very basic commonly used word. The command "Come here!" becomes quite lolsy! XDD
