why would you be alone? Is it the group system?
what is that saying about hammering the odd nail down so that everyone is equal.
Real friends would not abandon you surely? However its up to you. Nothing to stop you having your interests what ever they may be. I guess you are talking about peer pressure.
Otherwise might as well all be robots who can't think for ourselves.
