What I also find interesting is how do religious people decide that their version of a god is the right one. Even within religions that believe in the same god there can be some rather large differences in belief systems. If you believe in Christ who has it right, the Catholics? The Baptists? One of the myriad other groups who follow Christ? Whose version and take on the Bible is the right one? What makes one interpretation more valid than another? Not one is based on any sort of factual evidence to support the divine so how is it so many people become so fanatical about the version they believe in? Anyway even though I do not believe in gods I do find such beliefs very interesting to observe and they can certainly bring out the very best and the very worst in humanity.
