One of things that attracted me to my wife was that she never wears any makeup at all. Nor does she care less about fashion. I'm attracted to people who have the confidence in themselves that they have no need to cover their faces with crap and shroud themselves in labels or a distintive look. For me it matters not if you're male or female if it takes more than about 15mins to have a shower and get dressed to go out then there's something wrong with you. As I say completely personal opinion and I know that most don't think this way especially on this forum where so many appear to like to dress up

i agree to a certain extent, but at the same time i am taking a totally opposite side. each person has different preferences and that our preferences only increases because we are bombarded by social influences and competitions. it is only natural to make oneself more competitive, only if this invisible wall does not exist we can drop this believe, but as long as human interacts with each other, competitions and making oneself appeal to others will not cease to exist. Sometimes confidence is not something one can assure of, even if one is confidence, that confidence may easily be overwhelmed and destroyed. For it is others approval that will ultimately give confidence. What i just said could also be argued wrong depending on how deep and how isolated we want to take this sole concept to, but as of what reality is, this is my thought.
