Mainly, I just hate people who butcher the Japanese language because they think they know best because they're biggest hobby is everything to do with japan.

I was in a bookstore once with a Japanese friend, someone over-heard her use the word sakura, and proceeded to tell my japanese friend that she was wrong and that it was pronounced a different way...

Horrible arguments persued afterwards.
