"ぱね" [pane] isn't a name. It's part of the phrase 突っぱねる [tsuppaneru] meaning "to reject; to spurn; to turn down; to refuse". Also 平子 = Hirako

Also 声をかける can mean "To be asked out"? I've never heard it that way :O I thought it meant "to call out to someone".
