I don't think it would make sense. You can't take a taxi home while you're on the train ride home (
you would be in two places at once! ). The sentence after the comma shows what you're doing
during the train ride home.
So for example:
During the train ride home, I read the newspaper.
Which means you were reading the newspaper on the train ride home.
I hope that makes sense. I'm not very good at teaching, haha ^^;
