Hello I am new here, i have very different opinion on this matter on this issue from the mod MMM, i hope he wont mind my stance on it.
Dear Readers
Onemanga has helped me in alot of ways, for one case , back in 2008 i got sickened with something bad, i went to the hospital twice came back home to recover.
As a young kid i was a fan of anime and i am still, during my recovering i decided it was to read something, since i couldn't get up from my bed i knew my laptop came in handy back then.
I went to onemanga, and read through a few titles which i prefer (666 Satan or O Parts hunter, and some unknown titles in north america) meaning those less popular.
I enjoyed them very much, after a while as passed, and i felt better again, went to a local book store know as chapters indigo and re started buying a few mangas which i brought home.
If anyone wants to know which titles i bought from chapters i be happy to post about them it.
Manga Scanlations encourage me and freinds of mine to buy mangas.
It was thanks to manga Scanlations which they brought mangas to north america.
They made the mangas aware & known to the public.
Manga publishers have no evidence that the manga scanlations are responsible for the low sells of the mangas at the markets.
This is a quote from somewhere
Quote:
Will shutting down the comics and manga pirate sites boost sales in the publishing business, or will these efforts just result in alienating manga/comics' most devoted fans?

shutting down the comics and manga pirate sites like (onemanga) wont boost sales in the business at all.
Shutting those sites is like shutting down mod sites for video games, are they also breaking the law by modding the game? I don't think so.
If anyone wants to know the rest of the world is still going through a recession and there might be another market crash coming.

The lack of sales of mangas is the direct result of the economic downturn.
Thanks for understanding, i hope i can a have a debate on here, since i don't mind debates.
