Pretty much. Although I think most religions have variations of 'karma' in some way or another, such as Christians belief in an eye for an eye, or in Wicca the idea what you do comes back at you threefold. . .
I have to ask though - mainly to the original poster (I think that's who it was anyway) - that there seems to be some negativity towards the concept of karma, mainly that some people do good things and still get screwed over. I always thought that karma wasn't what occurs over this life, but over the span of multiple past lives? So that if in your past life you did evil, you'd pay for it in lives to come. So even if it seems like life is unfair/unjust, that there's actually a reason for it after all?
