"Communiquer" ?
Well if you can communicate thanks to your mother tongue, I am really happy for you, because it is really not possible for us, French, to do so.

As I said, we can only guess a few words.
But I won't go as far as to call that "communication".

I mean, how can we guess grammar ?
And if I were to use some French that we find in French novels will you still be able to understand it ?
I bet not.

It would be the same as to say : A Chinese can communicate with a Japanese.

That's wrong.
The Chinese will, for sure, be able to read and write a few Japanese words (as the Kanji comes from Chinese caracters).
But he won't, in any case, be able to communicate with them !

PS : By the way, your last sentence in French is somehow unclear for me ^^ I don't know what you tried to say : "We agree don't agree, I believe" ?
