Obscure Cosplay costumes -

As the title says, is it easier to find costumes for anime series that weren't popular in the states but were more liked in Japan? For instance, I know that Marchen Awakens Romance was well received in Japan but, was well liked in the america.
Oh and is there a website I could buy such obscure cosplay ( by america's standards) from? Possibility a Japanese cosplay website?
