The type of people on jobseekers do exactly that. They don't want to find work. They'd rather sit at home all day, high on drugs & getting drunk. Some people on jobseekers do try to find work, but most can't be bothered & use the allowance as a sort of income. They typical sort of person in the Job centre, to sign on, would be, what are known in Scotland as 'Neds', & I believe they're known as 'chavs' in England. They just hang about places, usually in white Adidas tracksuit trousers & matching top, or some other sports brand tracksuit jacket. They just hang about, do nothing & causing a bit of trouble. NEET's sound better as it sounds like they keep out people's way
