Great, now we have a nice smorgasbord of Light/L/Misa supporters. Fair enough ^_^
Supporters aside, Oren is right. The manga was great, the anime was just as good, IMO. It's already been quite some time since DN was completed, and still, I don't see an anime of the same genre matching up to it, maybe DN's the only genre of its kind. 
There's no such thing as happy endings, for when you find true love, happiness is everlasting.
