You know, usually “/” is used as “A /B” and you mean you can use both A and B.
However, the sentence doesn’t seem to have “B”.
Is that a typing error as JamboP26 said?

I'm nearly certain that was either a typographical error or some unknown form of emphasis used in typed communications. As the written word has no way to emphasize certain words or phrases, other methods must be used. I prefer to place asterisks (*) on both sides of a word or phrase to draw the reader's attention as though I am speaking the words aloud.
So yes, I agree with JamboP26's conclusion.
Hope that is of some use, Yuri.
