Guten Tag!

Could someone tell me the difference between “legen” and “setzen”?

I know that “setzen” can means “to sit down”, but both of the words can mean “to put”.
How do you use these words?

Are these sentences natural?
1. Ich lege die Teller auf dem Tisch.
2. Ich setze die Teller auf dem Tisch.

Danke!

Hello, I may not understand English very well and I may lack words but I will try to understand you.

If you have questions about my post or Japanese customs, don't hesitate to ask.
