Are there occasions where it would be more convenient to be Japanese? Yes.

But do I wish I were? Not particularly.
I don`t have anything against being Japanese. And my husband most certainly doesn`t have a small... brain.
I`m just pretty much happy with myself and my life. Things I am not entirely satisfied with are things that I am capable of changing with effort. Having been born a different race/nationality wouldn`t magically make my life better, make me a better person, more attractive, etc. There are Japanese people who have absolutely awful lives, terrible families, etc etc... And plenty who are horrifically ugly. If you`re not happy with your life make the effort to change it instead of dreaming about how things would be better if you were some other nationality.

Life is what you make of it, not what you start with.
