One lucky persn will be paid 2,500,000 yen for working just one hour sometime this December. Domino is offerring this to commemorate its 25th anniversary in Japan. For those unfamiliar with the Japanese currency, 2.5 million yen is what many young people would earn in a year these days.
In my own not-entirely-professional analysis, Domino will be doing more than just recovering this "loss" in a matter of weeks, even days perhaps, as this unusual job offer will get the public to talk about the company. Having heard the news, I myself am already craving Domino's.
