Hello!
I previously asked a question on the Japanese Translation help thread, but I ran into something I hadn't seen previously (again. "orz ) and decided that the topic was semi-vague enough to deserve its own question thread. I'm sorry if this was presumptuous of me!
Can anyone explain to me, in clear English, what the カリ活用 form implies?
I get from yahoo JAPAN's dictionary that it's something like 若く+あり=若かり, but how would one describe this in English?
Mostly, I would like to know how would one use 「若かれ」and 「若からしむ」, etc.
I found
>>this question<< on yahoo's chiebukuro somewhat helpful, but I don't completely understand the answer.
Any and all help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!!! ( ; w; )/
