That's not to say that there aren't drunk people. Drunken businessmen are not uncommon... but they are usually on their way home after work drinks or something.
since our country started having bars open 24/7 the binge drinking has accelerated.

Why so many have to turn to alcohol to "enjoy themselves" I will never know.
