1. アキコさんとはニューヨークで知り合いました。- Is it possible to omit と?

2. ふたりは知り合ってどれくらいになるの？- What is the difference between "どれくらい" and "どのくらい"? So far I have only came across the latter one.


By the way, do you think the following sentences are correct?

2a. ホテルの予約を電話で確かめる

2b. 電話でホテルの予約を確かめる
