What they thought of when referring to “sexy” is the sort of girl who goes all out with the latest “sexy” fashion trends to look enticing. Yes, they will get a guy’s attention, but only until someone walks by who does it one step better. They were not referring to having a true sensuality to their personality, which I would refer to as been sexy. In this instance “sexy” is purely superficial, and of course, momentary.

so they regard the 'cute' as a personality trait that lasts forever but not the sexy?? im kinda lost here, so if a girl who as you mentioned had a sensuality to their personality wouldnt that also last forever aswell? some women go into their 60's plus and still look sexy, not by dressing sexy or looking fashionable but just generally by who there are. and some women can dress comp demure and they would still look sexy - i dont think they shud stereotype either on looks then
