I'm not sure which category would be the best to share these pics, but I think this thread is good enough for that.
I made the drawings (these are my first on bonsai-pots, so I used pics from Japan and also Hokusai' works, he's one of my favorite), and the shape of the octagonal pot is my work, of course the rest/main was my father's as he's the ceramist, I just like to work with him from time to time.
I hope I can show them to you after they're planted in. I don't know if anyone will want them though, because not every tree can be planted in a patterned pot, but than I will do it.
I know these are not very attractive, but to match the tree the pattern must be very simple. It shouldn't dominate, so the second one is a bit overdone with the white petals, and I think next time I'll leave out the glaze and make it in terracotta.
