I learned that the particles put before ごとし is の and が.
I hope that anybody can explain the difference to me.

The が used in literary writing, proverbs included, has exactly the same meaning as の.
矢がごとし = 矢のごとし = like an arrow
我が妻 = 我の妻 = my wife
