Sexily Cute - 12-11-2010, 02:09 AM

This tread has, indeed, been very interesting. I can relate to a lot of what is being said here. I lived in Japan for a year but I’ve never had an Asian boy friend (mostly because I had I boyfriend in the states when I was there studying abroad. I’ve ALWAYS liked Japanese guys but, being a foreigner (African American), I had no idea what they were going to think about me.

My body is what you would call “stereotypically sexy” for a western girl (large chest, small waist, and large hips, etc….) although I don’t’ have long legs being only 5’1. But, in Japan, I got a lot of stares and comments about my body by girls (they were funny, haha ) and guys (some even took the initiative to by me a drink or ask me to dance, WHICH WAS A REAL SHOCK)
But, although my body is “sexy”, my personally is cute and bubbly. I’m an anime freak, I played in the band at my high school, I love reading, writing, music, and boyish things like sports, fishing, getting dirty. Even with my body, I was called “cute” more often than “sexy” unless I acted a certain why. I’m back in America now and hoping to move back to Japan soon and I still have some good relationships with my Japanese friends, especially the guys, some of which would like to go further in the relationship if they could (from what they told me after LONG conversations), although I’m still not sure whether they would want to take me home to momma or not because I’m so different.

I guess my point is that having a sexy body is one thing, but I totally agree that it’s all about your attitude and how you carry yourself. Cute personalities have confidence too, but it’s a quiet confidence that some Asian men can identify with easier.
