I froze on this translation :O - 12-17-2010, 06:42 PM

I was surprised on Facebook by a Japanese friend and I hate chat coz I got no time to use dictionaries She told me she received my Christmas present and I wanted to tell her "good you already got it. I was afraid you wouldn't get by Christmas"........PANIC!!! All it came out was
もうもらって、カッコイイね。クリスマスまでにもらわ ないと恐れたんです
Did I even get close to it? All there was in my head was for sure is past the "afraid" part, but in the quotation? I was battled between もらわなかった and もらわない. I am sure she understood (she is used to my bad Japanese by now LOL), but I am curious what is the right tense to use.
Thank you.

降り注ぐ雨 マジで冷てぇ
暗闇の中 歩くしかねぇ
everything’s gonna be okay 恐れることねぇ
辛い時こそ胸を張れ
