So every earthquake in the last 2 million years is because a dude written that the world would end in 2012? Earthquakes are just normal for a planet with a thin sheet of solid surface over a liquid core that it's constantly moving.
Heck, people are so easy fooled by anything. I still remember when 2000 approached and some people got themselves in bunkers for a few weeks to escape the ending....
