For one word at a time try jisho.org instead or a rollover tool like rikaichan/rikaikun.
Google translate changes several words into Names randomly, will sometimes just pull a phrase out of thin air seemingly and other crazy things.
It can be useful if you want a very vague idea of what a page of Japanese is about in English, but never ever use it the other way around!
Also please don't do one word at a time from English to Japanese in a dictionary of any kind then stick them together to make a sentence, I see this a lot and it is not how grammar works at all
