I'm a relative Internet old timer from way back in the early 90s, and it used to be the norm for people to read the FAQ before posting on Usenet (the old-man equivalent of forums like JF) and type "!rules" before typing on IRC (the old-man equivalent of AIM/MSN/Y!IM/Skype/Facebook Chat/whatever). |
Usenet and IRC are still around you know
IRC also has autobans for those who disobey so watch it you young whippersnappers.
