Speaking of the Japanese BS channels, I was floored the first time I saw the title "BS NEWS" at a friend's house. Call me immature, but that one seriously got me.

I feel like I may have said it before, but sometimes I find that Japanese television audio is over compressed. It's like a constant barrage of noise. There's no soft and quiet, it's all just LOUD... ALL THE TIME. It gives me a headache, seriously.

Not that I was a fan of American television, but Japanese television is pretty ridiculous a lot of the time. Most of the stuff I seem to get stuck into watching at the in-laws is celebrities talking about bullshit. The worst part is that part of it might be interesting and educational... right when I start to think Japanese TV isn't that bad they segway into something entirely pointless and useless. It's like out of nowhere they'll switch to some 4 year old clip that used to be popular on the internet... the narrator kicks in and you can see the little facial expressions of everyone popping in and out of the corners as if I cared.

I don't watch Japanese TV at home... I just get glimpses of it whenever I go to peoples' houses or to the doctor's-- and I'm stick sick of it!
